Mixes From The Heartland ~ Gluten Free Foods~ Enormous Prize Package Giveaway

Gluten Free
GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED
Celiac Disease is an inherited autoimmune disease that effects more than 3 million Americans. The disease affects the digestive process of the small intestine and is triggered by the consumption of gluten--a protein found in wheat, barley and rye according to www.celiacdisease.net/. It is often difficult for these individuals to find easy, yet nutritious meals for families on the go. Mixes From The Heartland offers over three hundred (300) products on their website!

From all kinds of Breads & Muffins to Side Dishes (even noodles) to Main Dishes, Soups & Stews and YES even Desserts your gonna find 'em at Mixes From The Heartland

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MIXES FROM THE HEARTLAND
  • Products are all natural with no preservatives.
  • Beans and fruit are all freeze dried and contain no preservatives
  • Soups and meals are quick and easy to prepare.
  • All mixes are family size and serve 4 to 6 people.
  • Soups make 6 to 8 cups on average.
  • Pound cakes make 2 1lb loaves or a 9” x 13” pan.
  • They taste FABU and the whole family is gonna love 'em. PLUS they are big enough to feed a small army ;)
I was Blessed to receive 4 Mixes From The Heartland to review...

The first Mix was labeled as a "Sample" and I could not find it on the website. (I tried!) It was Brown Rice (pasta) Shells! OH soooo good! The bag was HUGE with 12 big servings. Tasty Tasty Tasty! I served this with a fresh chopped tomato veggie sauce but I would bet this would make a FAB mac and cheese! Gluten Free? Who would be able to tell? Deeeeelish!

Gluten Free Hamburger Pasta Soup
Hamburger Pasta Soup is cholesterol free and easy to prepare. A vegan friendly soup the whole family will enjoy. I know it says Hamburger, but I added Boca Ground "Crumbles" Totally Fabulous!

I added 2 cans of diced Fire Roasted tomatoes, some extra garlic, and substituted some veggie broth for some of the water for a "richer flavor." Talk about YUM! Hubby had no idea it was Gluten Free as he gobbled it up! So easy, and convenient! I love the fact that Mixes From The Heartland are shelf stable. Ready to rock and roll when I am!

Gluten Free Vanilla Pound Cake Mix
Vanilla Pound Cake is fat, cholesterol, and sodium free

I'm a chocolate lover but wow this is pretty good! It's got that comfort thing going on! It's super easy to make and can be jazzed up by adding some fruit into the mix before baking! How 'bout some fresh peaches? Chopped pecans? Dang it, if I would have thought of it, Cocoa Powder and chocolate chips! ;) To be honest, the Gluten Free Vanilla Pound Cake Mix is delicious just the way it is!

Gluten Free Strawberry Angel Food Cake Mix
I haven't had the chance to make this yet! But ohh I am psyched! I don't know what it is about fluffy Angel Food Cake that does it for me! It's light as air and doesn't weigh ya down! This is sure to be a Yum Yum~

ALLERGEN FACTS FOR Mixes From The Heartland
  • No eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, oats, barley, rye, and wheat in the plant.
  • No bean flours are used in any products.
  • Plant is allergen controlled.
