This moist outrageous cake reminds me of the cakes my precious Mom used to make! We would sit at the kitchen table many a night with a huge cup of tea and play cards laughing and eating a slice 'o Mom's cake. She was quite the little character! This cake brings back some great memories. I have her recipes. Funny thing is I can't bring myself to bake those cakes yet!

Hubby and I enjoyed this cake so much! Hubby, cut himself a ginormous slab one evening and I looked on in awe! The guy doesn't have a weight problem either. The louse!
