I have to admit, I’m not a huge milk drinker! But my Hubby is and if it’s low fat chocolate milk all the better! So when Horizon Organic contacted me I jumped at the opportunity to try this chocolate milk! I never turn down anything chocolate or anything healthy so I wanted to give Horizon Organic® Lowfat Chocolate Milk Plus DHA Omega-3 a whirl!
The taste is delicious and the nutritional stats are very very impressive. For me, the calories are what will keep me from drinking this on a steady basis. But for growing children who are active, that’s not a problem. Hubby and Sweet Pea love this too! I love that it doesn’t contain antibiotics, hormones and pesticides! What the heck is that stuff doing in our dairy supply! Yes, that stuff does make its way into YOUR milk!
The one thing that truly impresses me about this milk is that DHA is primarily found in fatty fish and Americans, especially children don’t eat enough of these types of foods (neither do us Vegetarians!)
I would LOVE to see Horizon add a line of Fat-Free DHA Omega-3 products for those of who use Fat Free Products!
