All Spice Cafe gourmet hot sauces got started because many people who tasted the wing sauce made by founder JD Cowles kept saying that he should bottle and sell his sauce. After years of home cooking and lots of family & friends continually telling him to bottle the sauce, All Spice Cafe got its start in 2006 when JD thought he would finally test out the market and produce some bottles of his greatly loved sauce. In the fall of 2006, three sauces were entered in the 2007 Scovie Awards as part of the Fiery Food and Barbecue Show in Albuquerque, NM. In early November the news came, the Cayenne Habanero took 3rd place for Habanero sauces and the Caribbean Spice took 1st place for Caribbean style sauces! September of 2007, the Chipotle Garlic was awarded a 3rd place Fiery Food Challenge Award at the Zest Fest in Fort Worth, TX and later in the year the Caribbean Spice was awarded a 1st place Award at the Hot Sauce Awards in Manhattan, NY! 2008 was a great year for All Spice Cafe! Los Angeles magazine’s annual Best of LA issue named JD “Best Hot Sauce Maker,” 3 Golden Chile Awards at the 2009 Zest Fest and 7 Scovie awards at the 2009 Fiery Food and Barbecue Show! Congratulations All Spice Cafe!!

I was Blessed to receive the delicious products below for review! If you’ve been reading Leslie Loves Veggies for any amount of time you know I always say “We like our food highly seasoned!” Wimpy food? Not around here! We like it spicy! Yes, I like my food hot! But hot with no flavor is not what I mean! I want sass, and pizzazz! HOT, TONGUE SCALDING, EYE BURNING HEAT just for the heck of it doesn’t do it for me!
All Spice Cafe is my new obsession! (I love the labels!) Each bottle and jar is a flavorful concoction with a fiery little kick! Don’t get me wrong, these still pack a wallop but a flavorful, zesty, lusty, taste bud tantalizing wallop!
Chipotle Olive Tapenade A classic mixture of olives, capers, rosemary and garlic with a kick of chipotle at the end. Great on flat breads, in scrambled eggs or some angel hair pasta topped with freshly grated pecorino cheese. Vegan and All Natural. No Preservatives. 8 oz jar.

OhMyGosh is this every delish! We love to put this on top of freshly grilled baguettes of bread topped with a bit of marinara, parmesan and mozzarella chesses. That’s high class snackin’. Savory, spicy what a wonderful party appetizer this makes!

I’m having a ball with these hot sauces! I used Caribbean Spice Sauce to marinate green and red peppers and onions with some Naked Chik’n Cutlets. Then I popped ‘em on the grill and the sweetness from the spices mixed with the heat from the sauce made this veggie feast a delight.
Hubby the Hubster is a traditionalist! He loves his chicken kinda simple. What could be easier than chicken wings marinated in Chipotle Garlic Sauce, and tossed on the outdoor grill! I tasted the sauce as I thought it might need ‘doctoring’ up. Uhmmm no! It didn’t need a darned thing. All I did was toss the bowl of wings every once in a while to make sure they were getting evenly coated! The chicken came off the grill and got a huge 2 thumbs up from Hubby!
