I was Blessed to receive a Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron (1-1/2″) for review! The Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is rated #2 on Flat Iron Experts Best Curling Iron list for one reason alone and it is the price. If price wasn’t a factor, this curling iron would be #1 for sure. The Babyliss Tourmaline Ceramic Curling iron emits negative ions and far-infrared heat that brings a number of additional benefits to your hair:
1. Eliminates static electricity
2. Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft
3. Neutralize odors
4. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle
The Babyliss curling iron comes with 40 adjustable heats setting up to 428 F perfect for all hair types. Push the dial (see above) and it pops out easily to adjust the temperature. Press again to lock-in the dial and prevent accidental changes. I like to keep my dial set on 20-22. That seems to work perfect for my hair texture.
Experts say that tourmaline curling irons give longer lasting curls compared to the non Tourmaline or Ceramic Hot Tools curling irons and other drugstore brands. I’ve had my fair share of dime store curling irons over the years and 15 minutes after my hair is curled it’s straight. So I’m thankful for a longer lasting curl.
