Honey Ridge Farms ~ Gourmet Prize Package Giveaway ~ 2 Winners

GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED
Honey Ridge Farms was built upon offering the highest quality and value in its specialty gourmet honeys. They are dedicated to sourcing these premium honeys by supporting local artisan beekeepers from several states. Busy little bees aren’t they 😉

They now offer three varieties of honey from the Pacific Northwest – Wild Blackberry, Star Thistle and Pumpkin Blossom. California varieties include Black Button Sage and Orange Blossom. Who knew such delectable honeys even existed! Yummmmmm!

Honey has a special place in my heart! Growing up my twin sister adored honey! I was a tiny little girl and I remembered not even really knowing what honey was and watching my sissy lick it off the spoon! To this day she still goes gaga over honey! It’s actually funny to watch her. Funny thing is my older daughter has inherited that love of honey!

I feel Blessed to have received three fabulous Honey Ridge Farms products for review! All were outrageously delish, unique and wonderful!

Honey Glazes These all natural, gluten free glazes and sauces are going to add so much ooomph and pizazz to your summer cooking! There are just so many ways to use ’em! Add them to recipes to add zip and zing! Use as a glaze while grilling or as dipping sauce!

I received the Honey Ridge Grilling Sauce (Medium) It’s a little sweet, a little spicy (and ya know I like my food highly seasoned!) so this is right up my alley! Use as you would a “conventional BBQ sauce” however this is anything but conventional! 🙂 I was going to use this in a recipe, but I didn’t! It tastes so good on my food, I’ve been using it as a dip for fresh grilled veggies, steamed veggies, on veggie burgers and Hubby the Hubster has been using it on his grilled chicken! It’s a real winner!

Here are the other Flavors…

  • Cranberry Chutney Honey Glaze
  • Ginger Lime Honey Glaze
  • Orange Chili Honey Glaze
  • Sweet Chili Honey Glaze
  • Honey Ridge Grilling Sauce (Mild)
  • Honey Ridge Grilling Sauce (Medium)
  • Honey Ridge Grilling Sauce (Hot)

Honey Vinegars Honey Ridge Farms combines their honey vinegar with herbs, spices and other secret ingredients to bring us the most fabulous condiment you’ve ever used!

How do you use this? Well, of course you can use it on salads with a splash of good olive oil! But, add this to a sammie for the most outrageous sub you’ve ever sunk your teeth into! (I swear mustard will be jealous!) Toss with steamed veggies for great flavor! Here’s a super tip, I always add balsamic vinegar to my lentil soup. It just adds a depth of flavor nothing else does. Next time, I’m going to add my Fire Roasted Chili Honey Vinegar instead!

  • Sundried Tomato & Tarragon Honey Vinegar
  • Fire Roasted Chili Honey Vinegar
  • Lemongrass Coriander Honey Vinegar

Honey Crème Blackberry Did you know honey is the oldest known sweetener for humankind? Interesting isn’t it? Well Honey Creme Blackberry is blended with the finest blackberries and never cooked so the flavor of the honey and fruit is retained! No need to refrigerate (I was surprised.)

This delightful jar of goodness can be used to sweeten tea, top oatmeal (I live in the south and this is soooo good on grits,) top desserts, waffles and pancakes, add to sauces or paired with cheese. I have to be honest with ya, my favorite way to eat this is on a plain ole English Muffin! Simple, Warm, Comfort Food! So good!

Here’s a recipe I thought you would fall in love with! Fast, easy & delish!

Blackberry Gorgonzola Crostini
6 fresh figs, cut lenghwise into 4 slices
Honey Ridge Farms Blackberry Honey Crème
1 loaf French baguette, sliced 1/-inch thick and toasted
4 ounces Gogonzola or other crumbly blue cheese

Spread honey creme on toasted bread slices, top with cheese and a fig slice.

I LOVE COMPANIES THAT GIVE BACK
Because of their dedication to the apiculture industry and their partnership with local beekeepers, Honey Ridge Farms donates a portion of their profits from their Balsamic Honey Vinegar to help fund research to promote bee colony health. Significant problems face the honey bee and beekeeping industries. Since one-third of our food source depends on honeybee pollination, funding research is essential to maintaining bee colony health.
