GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED
I love my iPod touch but the earbuds are a killer! No lie! I can’t live without my music, but I could live without those earbuds. There’s gotta be a solution to sore ears, ill fitting ear buds and ear buds that simply don’t stay in your ears!
When the GENIUSES at BURTON TECHNOLOGIES contacted me and told me about ACOUSTIBUDS®, an earbud ‘slipcover’ if you will, I was all ears!
ACOUSTIBUDS®
ACOUSTIBUDS are an earbud cover that slips onto the earbud that are included with most iPod, iPhone, mp3 player and smart phones. The three most common complaints about those flat faced earbuds are that they sound bad, hurt your ears and won’t stay in. What’s great about ACOUSTIBUDS® is that they seal in what you are listening to and seal out the outside noise.
ACOUSTIBUDS® also help the standard iPod earbuds stay in your ears even during a workout. Lastly, ACOUSTIBUDS® allow you to use the standard flat faced earbuds that came with your iPod/mp3 player instead of throwing them in a “junk drawer” or tossing them in the garbage and going out and spending more money on replacement earbuds.
I was Blessed to receive a package of ACOUSTIBUDS® and a package of ACOUSTIGRIPS for review.
I cannot tell you the difference ACOUSTIBUDS® make in the comfort of my earbuds. Hubby saw the ACOUSTIBUDS and noticed that THREE sets come in a package. That’s so you get the perfect fit for your ear. It’s also great because you can share with friends and family. I happen to have a small ear canal. Hubby has a medium sized ear canal and one of Sweet Pea’s friends was THRILLED to get the large ACOUSTIBUDS!!
I noticed immediately that ACOUSTIBUDS blocked out all external noise. Hubby was talking to me and I couldn’t hear a word he was saying. I was able to turn the volume on my iPod touch lower than I usually do and hear it better too.
My ACOUSTIBUDS®
- Stayed in Better
- Sounded Better
- Felt Better
What’s really fantastic is that Hubby the Hubster wears hearing aids bilateral. He is very hearing impaired. Without his hearing aids he has a severe hearing loss. Until recently, when he wanted to listen to his iPod touch he had to turn the volume up so loud it concerned me.
Because ACOUSTIBUDS are made from soft silicone, they’re flexible and he can use them with his hearing aids! He was actually ecstatic because with his hearing aids, his hearing is actually close to normal. He is using his ACOUSTIBUDS with his iPod touch at a normal volume for the first time in years! THAT’S HUGE!
Watch this video demonstration which does a great job of explaining what ACOUSTIBUDS earbud covers are and how they work!
Hubby and I each received an ACOUSTIGRIP cord management clip to use with our iPod touches. ACOUSTIGRIP™ is used to clip the earphone wires to a shirt or light weight jacket. This allows you to perfectly set the wire slack so that the earphones do not tug on the ears with head movement or when the wire ‘swings’ during exercise.
ACOUSTIGRIP™ is very small (smaller than a dime) so that it can remain attached on the wires and not get in the way. Three wire ‘receivers’ are provided to fit the most common wire sizes, such as those on the Apple earphones. The two wire receivers on the outside of the clip are for smaller wire pairs and the one wire receiver in the center can be used for a single larger wire. ACOUSTIGRIP™ clips are formed from a durable plastic material and can be easily “adjusted” with a coin and opened up if necessary to accept larger wire diameters.
I love that ACOUSTIGRIPS are lightweight and easy to use and really keep my wires secure on my shirt. That keeps my earbuds from popping out of my ears when Hubby and I take walks! Hubby loves his as much as I love mine! Nifty accessory!
