Thirty-five years ago, Rob and Gordon Hanks started cleaning carpets part-time to pay for college. Within a few years, the company grew to include a complete array of cleaning services, and their brother Dave joined as well. I was Blessed to receive a Cleaning Essentials Kit for review. I am a clean freak! Yup, I said it, so when I opened this box I started to giggle! When I started to giggle, Hubby started to laugh! He knew I was in my glory. Not only is there every cleaning product I need for every room in my home, but a roomy Cleaning Caddie to carry them!
These products are concentrated, to do the job they say they will and are dependable! That’s HUGE! I was not disappointed in any one of the products in this kit! I want to know when I pick up a bottle of cleaner it’s going to do the job! HomePro by Design does the job!!
The Cleaning Essentials Kit contains
- Cleaning Caddie
- Microfiber Cloth Kit – I was a little confused when I saw three different color clothes until I realized they included the different colors to avoid cross contamination of cleaning surfaces. Pretty smart huh! These cloths are super absorbent and when used with the cleaners in the kit, they get everything clean! (I love to use the white cloth for stains with the Spot and Stain Remover!)
- Glass Cleaner Kit – This kit uses ‘green compliant’ ingredient to make one heckuva glass cleaner! Anyone who knows me will tell ya I’m a nut with glass cleaner. Since having My Little Guy here all the time, I’ve been very careful about how much and what I’m spraying. I don’t spritz with gay abandon like I used to. HomePro Glass Cleaner allows me to use less and get this, my windows, mirrors and glass stay clean longer!
- Wood Polish Kit – A little goes a long way on this lemony cream polish! My beautiful wood furniture is taking a beating lately! Hotty Patotty is just learning to walk. Know what that means? Baby finger prints on everything. Granted I wash his little mitts numerous times a day, but they still get grubby. I love my furniture, but I’m not gonna make My Little Guy a basket case by telling him NO! NO! NO! So every few days, I give the furniture a good cleaning with my HomePro Wood Polish. Not only does it get rid of dust and dirt, it gives my furniture a brilliant luster and makes everything just glow!
- General Purpose Cleaner Kit – Love! Oh how I love! This cleaner does it all! Floors, walls, sinks, (pssst, I even used this for the toilet). Not to worry, it’s completely safe of surfaces, but tough on dirt! Safe for the environment too! That big bottle that’s included in the kit is a bargain because this is super concentrated. Mix one part cleaner to eight parts water in the empty spray bottle that’s included in the kit! This makes 9 quarts!!!
- Shower & Bathroom Kit -This is a concentrated solution! Mix 1 part Shower & Bathroom Cleaner to 2 parts water, making 3 pints total product! This foaming cleanser works wonders on shower doors, grungy grout, dirty sinks and it works fast! Makes cleaning the bathroom pretty darned easy!
- Spot and Stain Remover – Boy did I need this! My Little Guy still spits up! He has reflux and my beige carpets which were in fabulous shape ten months ago are less than fabu now. Thank goodness for HomePro Spot and Stain Remover. Now when we have an accident I just treat it and viola. This can even be used on some clothing stains and car upholstery!
- Whizgroom - The WhizGroom is ideal for those hard to reach, tight spots in cars or furniture. It quickly loosens soil particles, lint, pet hair, and debris from upholstery and other fabrics making them easy to vacuum up. WhizGroom works great for those finishing touches. I had no idea what a Whizgroom was, but I do now and I love it! Gets all those crumbs and ickies from places ya just can’t reach! It’s a handy little gizmo!

I never realized that residential cleaning isn’t as good because professional solutions are not available in retail stores. I could use the Treated Dusting Cloth, Yellow 50 count before the dust takes over.
