Living green and eco-friendly is important to me. I search out Earth-friendly companies and bring their products to you because I honestly believe that our Earth is not a commodity to be taken lightly. If we don’t take our resources seriously our future is in danger. There are so many things we can and should be doing! We as consumers hold so much power. Many of these steps are easy, painless and can be fun!
I recently found Green Ostrich, a fabulous woman owned business that has the most incredible online store dedicated to Earth-friendly green gifts and and green toys! Yes! GREEN TOYS! (Think Holidays!!!) Doing something great for the earth can be fun! It doesn’t have to feel like a sacrifice!
To save the Earth, we have to refresh the resources we borrow. Using Earth-friendly products in our daily lives helps. Learn to recognize them. Demand them. I was Blessed to receive a LunchSkins Reusable Sandwich Bag – Aqua Blue Sharks for review. Hubby brings lunch to work everyday and most days it’s a sandwich. I often pack it in a plastic container or wrap it in foil or plastic wrap, or even a zip top bag, but when I saw the LunchSkins Sandwich Bags bells went off in my head and I knew this was a better way! I’ve seen reusable sandwich bags before but they were always ‘cutesy’. Nothing my Hubby would use. This bag is cute, but in a manly sorta way. When I showed it to him, he said “cool!” He is really eco-conscious too!
