In 1970, four friends got together and created the Follow Your Heart Market and Restaurant in Canoga Park, California. From these small quarters, they served vegetarian soups, sandwiches, and salads to a growing vegetarian community. Follow Your Heart® Vegan Gourmet Products
- Vegenaise – If you’re a vegan you are well aware that mayo is loaded with eggs. That doesn’t make for a vegan-friendly sandwich spread. This version of Vegenaise (there are a few) is soy-free, vegan and gluten free. Of course it’s delish on all your favorite sammies, but I love it in my homemade macaroni and potato salads! It’s creamy and adds a tangy zip to any cold salad dish! I’m also a huge fan of the Reduced Fat Vegenaise with Flaxseed and Olive Oil (not included in this prize package). If you are on a fat-restricted diet, you’ll really enjoy this product with less than half the fat and calories of regular mayo.
- Vegan Gourmet Cheddar Cheese Alternative – I love to make pasta salad with chunks ‘o cheddar. My older daughter is lactose intolerant and has to pick out the cheese, which she loves.
