Power of Fruit Bars
Come Summer, you’ll find my freezer stocked with lotsa yummy, healthy, frozen, fruity treats! It’s hot here in Georgia and Hubby likes to grab a cool treat after doing yard work. The kids enjoy a frozen fruit bar on a hot summer day and even the baby loves a frozen goodie. It soothes his sore little gums, he’s teething you know. Sugar-laden, corn syrup infused ice-pops and bars are not my idea of a healthy snack!
Power of Fruit Bars are conveniently packaged, there’s no dripping or mess. The packaging is similar to the freezy pops we are all familiar with. But these bars contain nothing but fruit, fruit concentrate and a bit of water. Each bar actually has chunks of real fruit and is equal to ½ a fruit serving.
My favorite are the CherryBerry Bars! These gluten-free, trans-fat free treats contain Tart Cherries, Blueberries, Apples, Water, Grape Juice Concentrate and that’s it! At 35 calories and 0.20 grams of fat per serving I can indulge guilt free. Dig this, they even have 1 gram of fiber.
Each flavor is fabulous, refreshing and full of fresh fruit flavor and goodness! Power of Fruit Bars are a snack I feel good about serving to my family because they are wholesome and nutritious! Not only that, my family loves eating them!
