I’ve often told you, my loyal readers what a huge tooth nut I am! I brush, I floss and I am diligent about my oral hygiene. I see my dentist every 6 months for check-ups no matter what. My teeth have always been white, but I’m noticing with age that they aren’t as pearly white as they used to be or as I wish they could be. I know the first thing I notice about someone is their big beautiful smile. So when I heard about Crest 3D White 2-Hour Express Whitestrips I was very curious about them and contacted the company and they were very gracious and sent me 2 boxes for review.
I used tooth whitening strips a few years ago and oh what a mess! The strips didn’t stay put, they slid off my teeth, they tasted terrible and because they moved around so much they caused gum irritation. As you can imagine, I only used them a few times before I gave on whitening my teeth.
With Crest 3D White 2-Hour Express Whitestrips you’ll get a whiter smile in just a few short hours. Apply once for 2 hours and get a whiter, brighter smile, in no time at all. Each kit contains 4 treatments so you can keep your smile bright for a whole year. The formula is safe on your enamel, which is something I was concerned about. But Crest 3D White 2-Hour Express Whitestrips contain the same ingredients dentists use so I felt more at ease using them knowing that!
The Whitestrips utilize an innovative thicker ingredient layer, they only need to be worn 2 hours and yes, I did see noticeable results! I was so impressed I shared the box with Hubby the Hubster and he enjoyed the benefits of whiter teeth too! I LOVE that the results are basically instantaneous. There is no waiting 2 or 3 weeks.
The strips themselves were easy to apply and I was amazed at how well they stayed in place on my teeth. Each box has four full treatments, which you apply every three months. Each box lasts a full year, so for the price of $55 you’ll have a white smile for over a year! That’s very affordable!
Tips for using Crest 3D White 2-Hour Express Whitestrips
- Do not brush teeth immediately before applying strips.
- Apply gel side of strip to teeth. Align strips with gum line and press gently for good contact, then fold the rest of strip behind teeth to keep in place. It helps to look in the mirror when you do this. The short strip goes on your bottom teeth, long strip on top teeth.
- After 2 hours, remove and discard. If you notice gel on your teeth, brush, rinse, or wipe it away.
- Just an FYI, The strips will not whiten caps, crowns, veneers, fillings or dentures. Do not use with dental braces.

I learned it is enamel-safe. I am so glad to hear that! I would love to try it knowing it wouldn’t harm my enamel. That is the reason I have never tried any before.

That’s pretty impressive because the basic ones I have used before don’t have that…I can’t even speak for 30 minutes while I wear them…lol! I learned that they have a new design for fuller coverage of your lower teeth. That’s great; I find that most whitening strips only cover a few of my lower teeth, so I have to stagger where I place the strip every time I use them. Better coverage means a better all-around smile!

I learned that coffee can shorten the length of time your teeth stay whitened – bad news for me!
I quit smoking years ago but I still feel like my teeth could use brightening. I’ve tried others but didn’t find them convenient enough. I just read on their website that you can drink water while you wear the strips, that’s awesome!
I learned that to remove stubborn stains that accumulate below the enamel surface, bleaching is an appropriate option.

i liked the shorter time. it takes just two hours to get white and lasts a lot longer than other brands a whole 3 months and the pack comes in 4 treatments for a whole year you don’t have to go and buy another kit that is really convenient.

I went to their website and learned that the whitening can last for up to 12 months. Also, that it doesn’t damage the enamel.
