Rigoni di Asiago is not only a successful company, but a family tradition. This 90 year old company has it’s roots in organic farming. Starting with honey, the company successfully proceeded onto making Fiordifrutta jams, the natural sweetener DolceDì, Nocciolata chocolate and hazelnut spread and most recently, Fruttosa ready-to-eat fruit dessert. By choosing organic food, producing or eating it in the long term means sustaining nature’s reserves. It means protecting ourselves and future generations. Rigoni di Asiago made this choice many years ago.
I was Blessed to receive three delicious Rigoni di Asiago products for review and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Nocciolata Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
Rigoni di Asiago’s Nocciolata is made from a special family recipe and is still processed slowly and gently according to tradition. Nocciolata is a delicious, organic, chocolate hazelnut cream spread that’s perfect for spreading on toast or bagels. It’s also delicious in recipes and as a cake filling ingredient!
Nocciolata Chocolate Hazelnut Spread contains only organic ingredients, no added aromas, fats or artificial colorants. From the raw materials to the finished product, Nocciolata is ethically produced so it’s kind to the consumer and mother nature.
I love to swirl a teaspoon or so onto my light wheat toast. It’s rich and creamy and the nutty, chocolate taste is absolutely divine! It’s also fabulous as an ice cream topping. That’s how Hubby likes to eat it!
Fiordifrutta Strawberry Jam & Fiordifrutta Apricot Jam
Fiordifrutta is a line of jams and marmalades prepared exclusively from organic products and sweetened with DolceDi apple-juice. Fiordifrutta has all the flavor and goodness of freshly picked fruit.
These yummy fruit spreads contain pure organic fruit, apple juice and pectin, that’s it. No added sugar, preservatives, colorings or sweeteners are added!
Fiordifrutta jams are delicious! The apricot is ideal for glazing tarts, pies and filling linzer cookies. The strawberry jam is what we are enjoying on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toast, bagels, and English muffins. The flavors are bright and vibrant and taste like fresh picked fruit. I love that there is no added sugar and no artificial sweeteners. I use artificial sweetener but I would never feed it to My Little Guy.
Fiordifrutta Jams are really tasty spooned over ice cream, smoothies and yogurt. I’ve tried the apricot and strawberry but there are a huge variety of flavors to choose from! I’ve got my eye on the Pink Grapefruit Marmalade.
Be sure to stop by Rigoni di Asiago and check out all their tasty products and recipes!
