GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED
Tropical Traditions has become a tradition in my home! I love their foods and cleaning products and can’t remember a time when I didn’t use them even though I was only introduced to them about a year ago! They are just a part of our every day lives now! I have been more than satisfied with each and every new product I’ve tried! The cleaning products are safe and effective and I don’t worry about using them around the baby or the new puppy, Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Brown.
Every new food product has been delicious, some exotic and new to us! I have been impressed with the high quality and freshness of Tropical Traditions edibles. I never have to worry about artificial ingredients or icky preservatives. Their foods are pure and natural! All of their foods are either certified organic or meet quality standards that are equal to or higher than organic certification. This includes no GMOs. This is quite different from most health food stores, where you have to be “on your guard” as most of them offer conventional products right alongside organic products, because they want to offer a full selection of products to compete with regular grocery stores. Tropical Traditions would rather offer fewer products, and stick to their high standards, so that you can feel safe when shopping there.
I was Blessed to receive a jar of Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey for review.
My sister and daughter love honey. Me? Not so much. But I had never had organic raw honey. I didn’t even know what it was until I reviewed Tropical Traditions Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey! This is nothing like the honey found on grocery store shelves! First of all the color and texture are nothing like ‘regular’ honey. It isn’t clear and doesn’t drip or run like store bought honey.
Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey comes from the frontier areas of Canada, and is only harvested during a 6-week period in the summer. Tropical Traditions is the exclusive source of this premium organic honey in the U.S. Most commercial honey available comes from bee farms and is loaded with pesticides and fertilizers. I had no idea. They are also pasteurized and filtered which removes most of the nutrients and enzymes.
Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey has not been subjected to the heat of processing, only warmed enough to flow. They select only premium honey that is pure, smooth and creamy, with the consistency of soft margarine at harvest. It contains live yeast and enzymes, because it has not been processed. It also contains pollen because it has not been filtered—merely screened. Unlike commercial honey, Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey will age really well. The flavors will continue to develop and taste will become even more complex!
Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey is really fabulous in tea, spread on whole wheat toast and used in recipes. Try mixing it with ice cold water and fresh squeezed lemons for a refreshing, natural honey-lemonade! It also makes one heck of a peanut butter and creamy honey sandwich! Tropical Traditions Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey is available in a 17.6 oz. glass jar for $12.99 and a 15 lb. pail for $135.99.
