Earthbound Farm Organic is committed to producing the purest food possible

GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

I love my Salad, make no bones about it! But every so often I’m racing the clock to get things done or I am on my way out the door with Hubby and I haven’t eaten all day and I am starving (it happened yesterday) and I am itching for a salad! I know if I grab something junky I’ll crash and burn. I need to eat something that’s healthy, contains protein and yes healthy carbs too!

Guess what I found? Earthbound Farm Organic PowerMeal™ Salad!  These scrumptious light meals are incredibly delicious and very filling because they are so well balanced nutritionally.  Each 6.5 oz clamshell Salad Meal contains salad, dressing, grain packet and a topping.  They’re all different and all very tasty!  I was Blessed to receive all three Earthbound Farm PowerMeal™ Salads for review.

New Earthbound Farm Organic PowerMeals , available in three power-packed flavors, are convenient plant-based meal options that don’t compromise on quality or flavor.

This past weekend I was rushing around the house like a whirling dervish!  I hadn’t eaten breakfast, was on my second cuppa coffee and by 1 pm I was starving.  We were just about to walk out the door to go food shopping (any fool knows you don’t go food shopping on an empty stomach, with a toddler no less) and my stomach started to growl and grumble.  I grabbed the Cranberry Wheat Protein Boost PowerMeal™ and dug in!  It’s a delicious mix of tender organic baby greens, whole-grain bulgur wheat and wheat berries with chick peas, dried cranberries and red wine vinaigrette.  It’s the perfect blend of slightly sweet and a little bit salty.  The bulgur wheat is slightly chewy and incredibly delicious.  This flavorful meal contains only 340 teeny calories, 7 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein!

The Tomatillo Black Bean Protein Energy Powermeal™ starts off with a blend of organic baby lettuces!  The grain packet contains a zesty black bean and corn salad that makes this salad so yummy!  Five-seed, stone-ground corn strips and green tomatillo vinaigrette tops off this rather hearty salad.   I was freezing cold one afternoon and really hungry.  I opened my salad, split it in half and had half a salad with a piping hot bowl of vegetable soup.  It was so filling and so delectable!  The Tomatillo Black Bean Protein Energy Powermeal™ contains 6 grams protein, 6 grams fiber and only 350 calories plus it’s gluten-free.

The last PowerMeal is my favorite!  It contains ingredients I absolutely love!!  It’s the Blueberry Quinoa Protein Balance PowerMeal™.   Did you know that quinoa is the only complete protein on the planet?  It’s the grain component in this satisfying, delicious salad meal that starts with organic baby spinach leaves.  Sunflower kernels and sweet dried blueberries are added for sprinkling on top!  The finishing touch is a zesty balsamic dressing that’s perfectly seasoned!  This salad really is a complete, hearty meal!  With a whopping 9 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber and 360 calories, this gluten-free PowerMeal fills you up, not out!  You’ll finish lunch and be energized and ready to go, not looking for a place to crash!

I didn’t receive this but I did want to include a short review of The Earthbound Cook by Myra Goodman because this great cookbook will be included in the Prize Package as well!
