Sun-Maid Dried Apricots and Tart Cherries {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

Sun-Maid Dried Apricots and Tart Cherries {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

Sun-Maid has been sharing their raisin and dried fruit recipe books with families for 100 years.

GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

With the holidays upon us it’s time to relax, stay away from the mall and rely on Sun-Maid for those last minute gifts.  Sun-Maid dried fruits are nutritious, delicious and are available in a huge assortment of fabulous varieties!  Did you know that Sun-Maid has been around since 1912 providing us with yummerlicious raisins and dried fruit?  Heck I remember eating Sun-Maid raisins as a little girl.  It was one of my favorite snacks!  Psss, it still is!!

I was Blessed to receive a bag Sun-Maid California Apricots & a bag of Sun-Maid Tart Cherries for review.  These fruits are so good right outta the bag!  Hubby loves the Mediterranean Apricots and the baby and I are suckers for the Tart Dried Cherries!  Hubby can polish off a bag of the apricots in a day or two!  I add the cherries to trail mix and muffins!

Delicious and nutritious Sun-Maid dried fruit is great in recipes

We’ve all seen holiday gift jars filled with cookie mixes!  I’ve always loved these homespun gifts!  Not only are they beautiful to look at, they are a thoughtful gift that the recipient can use after the holidays when the pickin’s are slim!

I have a recipe that’s a variation of the beloved holiday gift jar and I know you are going to love it!  It’s healthy, yummy and although it’s a little bit sweet because of the addition of Sun-Maid dried fruit, it’s not a dessert!   This Holiday Gift Jar is a recipe for Fruited Rice Pilaf courtesy of my friends at Sun-Maid.
