Vortex Children’s Color Changing Toothpaste {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

Vortex toothpaste makes brushing more effective by slowly changing color over time encouraging kids to brush longer

I’m a huge tooth nut! I visit the dentist every six months for a cleaning!  I brush and floss like I should and as far as my kids go I’m an even bigger nut!  When their first tooth erupted I remember wiping that tooth with a soft wash cloth until it was far enough in to brush with a soft tooth brush.  Oral hygiene starts with that first tooth!  I’m dedicated to keeping my kids teeth healthy!  I even published an article on Baby Bottle Syndrome in 2009 for Pediatric Safety titled Avoid Baby Bottle Syndrome & Keep Those Pearly Whites Forever so you know I am dedicated to doing all I keeping their teeth cavity free.

Now getting my girls to brush was pretty easy.  I would tell them I didn’t want to see little, fuzzy sweaters on their teeth and they would brush!  I think they did it to make me happy!  To be honest, I don’t care why they did it!  They did it and they have gorgeous teeth to this day!  My older daughter is 25 and she had one teeny tiny filling which wasn’t a cavity, but a natural pit that needed to be filled.  My younger daughter has had one or two fillings because of her love of sports drinks.  She’s a cross country runner and the Dentist has put the ‘icksnay’ on that!  But overall, their teeth are beautiful!

My Little Guy who is two has great teeth as well and has seen the dentist, but it’s a struggle.  He is not a “happy brusher.”  Oh he brushes, but not without cajoling, begging and when push comes to shove, I get in there and do it myself.  Did you know that most children brush their teeth for an average of 7 seconds.  That is not an adequate amount of time to remove bacteria, plaque, debris and whiten teeth!  I’ve found a new toothpaste that I’m excited to share with you!  It’s called Vortex Children’s Color Changing Toothpaste and it’s not the same old children’s paste you’re used to seeing in your local drug store.

Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste is dispensed in two different colors; red and blue which combine together during brushing to make a pretty purple colorI was Blessed to receive Vortex Children’s Color Changing Toothpaste for review.  My Little Guy loved everything about this toothpaste from the colorful tube, to the yummy grape flavor, to the non-foaming formula to the color!  Yup!  I can honestly say that Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste made a big difference in the life of a 2 year old’s oral care!

Vortex does not contain any strange chemicals and there are no foaming agents in Vortex that can cause gum irritation

Everything about Vortex Toothpaste is kid friendly! The first thing you’ll notice when you open the tube are two tiny openings instead of one large one. That’s because Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste is dispensed in two different colors; red and blue which combine together during brushing to make a pretty purple color that my little guy loved. He thought the initial colors were even more fun! When I put the tooth paste on the brush he actually said “Ohhhh, Funny!”

Unlike traditional toothpastes which are flavored with a strong mint flavor which can be very overpowering for young taste buds, Vortex has a bubble gum grape flavor that My Little Guy loves!  In addition, Fluoridated Vortex doesn’t contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, an unnecessary foaming agent that may burn gums and lead to painful canker sores.  My Little Guy actually likes to brush his teeth now as you can see from the picture below.  Brushing isn’t a struggle anymore, which means he brushes longer and that means cleaner teeth and that means a healthier smile!

Vortex Color Changing toothpaste contains Fluoride and is fun to use!

    I can’t get the mandatory entry to open…

    I learned that Research at Indiana University School of Dentistry showed that Vortex, with 20% less fluoride, protected teeth as well as other toothpastes with a higher level of fluoride
