Make Your Food Sing With Colman’s Mustard!

I’ve always been a fan of mustard. My mom was a huge mustard lover too, the spicier the better!  As soon as I saw that sunny yellow jar of Colman’s Mustard the memories started to flood my brain!  My mouth started to water and I knew exactly what Colman’s tasted like!  I remembered it from my childhood!  Colman’s mustard must have been difficult to find back then because I only remember eating it a few times and I was very young, maybe three or four.  By then my palate was already obsessed with spicy food!  I know my mom had a tin of Colman’s Dry Mustard which she used in her potato and macaroni salads.  Mind you my mom was not a great cook, but there were a foods my mom was a master at!  Her macaroni and potato salads were among those foods!

Colman’s Mustard has been around for more than 200 years!  It’s a must have cooking essential in most every British kitchen. It’s so well known that 45 jars are sold every minute of every day all over the world.  It’s unlike any mustard you’ve ever tried. If you’re like me and you love your food highly seasoned this is your mustard!  Their secret is a blend of high-quality brown mustard seeds and white mustard seeds that produces a spicy fiery mustard that’s absolutely out of this world!

I was Blessed to receive a Colman’s Dry Mustard Powder and Jar of Prepared Mustard for review.

Coleman's mustard is more than just a condiment, it's a traditionIf you’ve never experimented with Dry Mustard now’s the time!

Colman’s Double Superfine Mustard Powder adds zip and zest to salad dressings, both homemade and bottled.  It imparts remarkable flavor to potato and macaroni salads.  And it’s your secret ingredient in dry rubs!  It can even be used to give chocolate chip cookies an unmistakable kick!

For a simple and fiery condiment simply mix Colman’s Dry Mustard with equal parts cold water and stir.  Allow to stand for ten minutes.  Use on sammies, in salads or in dips.

Colman’s Prepared Mustard is fabulous on regular and veggie dogs, on burgers and on sammies.  It’s also my new secret ingredient in burgers and meatloaf (add a healthy teaspoon into the mix!)  Colman’s Prepared Mustard is fat-free, cholesterol-free and kosher!  It’s a guilt-free way to add tons of flavor to almost all my meals.  From dressings, to sauces to sandwiches, to hot dogs, Colman’s Dry and Prepared Mustards makes everything they’re slathered on, mixed in and tossed on so much more delicious!

I grew up in Norwich, and we’re famous for Coleman’s! I never liked it as a kid, because it was always served with Roast Beef, and I was a vegetarian. But now, years later, I’ve seen the error of my ways. I always, always, always, have a tin of mustard powder handy. It goes in and with everything. So versatile.
