I love bags!  Purses are just my thing!  I have a few really nice bags but I’ve never owned a bag that was custom-made for me!  Imagine being able to choose the fabric, the type of closure you would like for your bag, whether you would like your name or initials monogrammed on the bag or even if you would like an inspirational quote inside the bag!

Those types of bags usually run hundreds of dollars!  I am honored to present to you Mama Mahoney Creations, the brainchild Janice Mahoney! I was Blessed to receive a Custom Quilted Day Off Bag (Large Quilted Tote) with matching Small Quilted Wristlet for review.  Gorgeous doesn’t begin to describe this set made from Michael Miller Paisley Spree Gray Fabric!

When Janice asked me if I’d like to host a Giveaway for Mama Mahoney Creations I was beyond thrilled.  I didn’t realize I would receive such incredible customer service.  I filled out a Request Form so Janice could get an idea of what type of bag to create for me.  Since I wanted to use my bag for traveling Janice suggested the Day Off Bag would be the perfect bag for me.  Then the magic started to take place.  I was able to actually go online and choose my fabric! And since I wanted a very secure bag Janice replaced the button closure with a full zipper!

The Day Off Bag features two large outer pockets which are ideal for housing my cell phone and necessities I like to keep close at hand.  The inside of this gorgeous tote has three large pockets to keep me really organized.  You know how small things tend to find their way to the bottom of the bag!  That won’t happen with the Day Off Bag! And all pockets, inside and out have reinforced stitching!  This bag is made to last!

I had the option of monogramming the outside of my bag but decided not to.  I did however, have a quote embroidered on the inside of my bag.

The matching small wristlet slips right into the outer pocket of my Day Off Bag!  I use it as my cosmetic bag!  It’s big enough for a lip gloss, eye pencil, powder, lip balm, gum and there’s still room left over.  All Mama Mahoney Creations  Bags are machine washable on the gentle cycle in cold water and can be tumble dried on low heat.

Mama Mahoney has created the Oscar Swag Small Quilted Wristlet in Blue Indian Batik to be swag for presenters and celebrities in the 2012 Oscar Awards. In conjunction with The Artisan Group, Mama Mahoney gifted 100 of these wristlets for the 2012 GBK Oscar Gift Lounge.

The new Inspiration Tote will be debuted in the 2012 GBK Oscar Gift Lounge.  Beautiful hues of blues and greens with punches of yellow and a gold thread throughout give the feeling of Hollywood glamour that can be used every day.
