Nonni’s Biscotti grew out of true Italian tradition. In the little town of Lucca, Italy along narrow cobbled lanes surrounded by elegant piazzas, their Nonni (an endearing term for Grandma) made biscotti to share with family and friends. When Nonni came to America, almost a century ago, she brought the family recipe with her.
To this day, the same family recipe using real eggs, butter and gourmet bittersweet chocolate is still used to give their biscotti a light, crunchy texture that is delicately sweet. Nonni’s devotion to quality ingredients has been the foundation for the continued success of the company, and the key reason Nonni’s Biscotti is the number one selling biscotti in the country.
I was Blessed to receive an assortment of Nonni’s Biscotti and Bites for review!
Nonni’s Biscotti
I’ve been enjoying Nonni’s Biscotti for a while but I’ve never tasted the Gingerbread Almond flavor. These crunchy, crispy gingerbread biscotti are filled with almonds and then lightly frosted on the bottom with a sweet, white frosting. So nice for a cold, blustery evening! Individually wrapped, they are perfect for lunches and snacking on the go.
The Orignali Biscotti is covered with almonds and walnuts and has a hint of anise flavoring. It’s just sweet enough and is the ideal treat to accompany my tea, coffee, cappuccino and even pairs well with sweet dessert wine!
Turtle Pecan Biscotti are a decadent biscotti for the chocolate lover, and that would be me!! They’re a sweet crunchy ‘cookie’ filled with pecans and little chunks of creamy caramel then dipped in a fine, gourmet milk chocolate! They are wonderful dunked in milk, dipped in coffee or eaten just as they are. They’re rich, and delicious and make a wonderful dessert or afternoon indulgence!
Nonni’s Biscotti Bites

Nonni’s Biscott Bites are a miniature version of Nonni’s Biscotti. Unlike regular cookies they don’t fall apart when you dip ‘n dunk in milk or coffee. The Classic Almond Biscott Bites are loaded with almonds and have a delicate hint of anise flavor. I think of these as the perfect sweet treat.
The Almond Dark Chocolate Biscotti Bites are classic almond biscotti bites dipped in gourmet chocolate! Not overly sweet, these are my all time favorite! They pair well with a cup of steaming espresso!
