Indulge in Summer Beauty at Sephora!
The summer is heating up and I’ve decided to add a little sizzle to my beauty routine as well! I’ve ditched my winter makeup and opted for some pretty new lip and eye colors! The folks at Sephora graciously sent me a few of their hottest summer beauty products to review. The colors are vibrant but sheer and highlight my sun-kissed glow perfectly!

Summer Beauty Essentials from Sephora!
If you’re still wearing your winter make up and fragrance it’s time to indulge in a few summer ‘must have’ items! Sephora has light, sweet smelling fragrances, eye colors that ‘pop’ and lip colors that are shiny, sexy and scream summer!
Izak Baked Eyeshadow Palette ~ This notebook style palette of shadows designed by French illustrator Izak Zenou is the way I like to do eye shadow for summer! With six gorgeous neutral shades ranging from the lightest pinks to the deepest browns this palette has every shade I need to take me from day to night!
The baked formula eye shadows glide on effortlessly and leave behind creamy silky color that stays all day. The color is luminous without being glittery or garish, so it looks great on women of every age. And because the palette is so versatile I can create a classic, natural eye or a dramatic smoky eye.
Great for weekends away, summer vacations or overnight business trips; the Izak Baked Eyeshadow Palette is compact and fits neatly into purse or makeup bag. Price ~ $30. Where can you buy six premium brand eye shadows for 30 bucks? This is a major bargain!
tokidoki Prisma Lip Gloss ~ When the weather heats up I usually opt for lip gloss instead of lipstick. I apply lipstick at home and carry lip gloss in my purse. I’m a lip product junkie as my family will tell you! I always have a balm, gloss or lipstick on my lips.
Prisma Lip Gloss is not only a beautiful lip gloss; the packaging is adorable and makes me smile every time I pull that tube out to use it. The cap features sparkly characters from the world if tokidoki, it’s colorful, shiny and such a conversation piece!
Prisma Lip Gloss is brilliantly shiny and sheer with a yummy, fruity flavor! Instead of a foam or brush applicator Prisma Lip Gloss includes a paddle applicator which I love! I’ve never seen this before. Foam applicators break down after a month or so and brush applicators tend to shed their hairs. If need be I can wipe the paddle with an antiseptic wipe. I love this delivery system! Tokidoki Prisma Lip Gloss contains kudzu and marine extracts and is paraben free. Sale Price ~ $9
Izak Satin Kiss Twin Lipstick ~ This is the most adorable and unique lipstick I have ever owned! Although I usually opt for lip gloss during the summer I’m totally digging the Izak Satin Kiss Twin Lipstick, which looks like a regular lipstick but is really two full-sized lipsticks in one tube. To remove a lipstick just pushes up on the bottom of one tube and the other pops out from the other end of the case.
I received the With Love duo and the colors are creamy, full of moisture and simply gorgeous! One shade is a light pink, ideal for day, the other a darker pink perfect for evening! The shades can be worn separate or mixed to create a natural, glossy lip.
Izak Satin Kiss Twin Lipstick glides on like a balm and nourishes my lips with pomegranate extract which replenishes the skins moisture barrier and keeps my lips hydrated so they stay moist and healthy! Izak Satin Kiss Twin Lipstick is paraben-free, mineral oil free and contains no animal derivatives. Izak Satin Kiss Twin Lipstick is available in three shades: Coquette, Mademoiselle and With Love. Price ~ $15
