Products Included

• Labne, two varieties – Mediterranean Lite Kefir Cheese and Mediterranean Labne Kefir Cheese
• Greek Honey Yogurt
• Yanni Grilling Cheese

Feta Basket Cheese comes in four varieties and is an exquisite cheese for adding to salads!  We opened the Feta Basket Cheese With Kalamata Olives & Thyme first and the package was gone in two days but Hubby and I polished off two salads that were the size of the kitchen sink.  Feta Basket Cheese is made with all natural ingredients. All the flavors are rich and creamy and are great on salads, sandwiches and pair well with summer fruits.  The expiration dates are well into autumn on the products I received which is really nice although these delicious cheeses won’t last that long!

Labne is a Mediterranean style spreadable yogurt cheese originally made by draining whey from slightly salted yogurt.  It’s tangier, richer and creamier than yogurt and is great for making dips, topping baked potatoes & veggies or using as a garnish.  It’s similar in taste and texture to sour cream.  I like the low fat style on baked potatoes!

Greek Honey Yogurt from Karoun Dairies is just about the best Greek yogurt I’ve ever tasted!  Thick, creamy, slightly sweet and rich, I didn’t want to share a spoonful with Hubby but I did.  This is authentic Greek style yogurt made with fresh, Grade A all natural Real California Milk and contains live probiotic cultures that enhance digestion.  It’s yummy right out of the container but for a special Saturday morning breakfast I made parfaits!  Yum!  I added an espresso and voila!

The last product we tried was Yanni Grilling Cheese, which comes in two flavors, original and jalapeño.  Grilling Cheese is an absolutely yummy cheese and one I had never heard of or tasted before.  It’s slightly salty and buttery and gets a golden crust when grilled or barbequed.  Late Sunday evening after a very long day Hubby and I had no desire to cook a huge meal.  So I grilled slices of Grilling Cheese.  I had no idea what to expect.  I should have taken a picture but it was about 10 pm and we were starving! (Told you it was late!).   We layered the crusty Grilling Cheese cutlets on sandwiches and piled the sammies with tomato and lettuce.  They were fabulous!!!
