Poptillas Are Popping with Flavor!
Summer is here! The kids are already out of school here in Georgia and my house is loaded with friends and family. The first thing that everyone says when they walk through the door is “I’m starving!” With the weather already above 90° I don’t want to eat heavy snacks that weigh me down. Of course my fridge is loaded with lots of healthy fruits and veggies but I admit we love fun snacks too! The makers of Kettle Classics® potato chips just introduced new one-of-a-kind tortilla chips called Poptillas®. Delicious? You bet and with 25% less fat than regular tortilla chips they’ve become an instant hit at my house!
I was Blessed to receive a variety of Poptillas popped tortilla chips for review. Poptillas come in three delectable flavors and I can’t decide which one I like the best! All three flavors; Yellow Corn, Nacho Cheese and Salsa Verde are made with all natural ingredients! They don’t contain any cholesterol, preservatives, high fructose corn syrup or trans fats.
Gluten-free, all natural Poptillas are popped instead of fried so they’re light and crisp! My family loves ‘em! And I love that they’re not loaded with fat and calories which Lord knows I do not need! Poptillas may be lighter in calories and fat but the flavors are huge! The Yellow Corn is lightly salted and perfect for dipping! The Nacho Cheese flavor is delicious right out of the bag, cheesy with just a hint of spice. And my favorite, the Salsa Verde Poptillas don’t need dip, I love those straight from the bag! Poptillas popped tortilla chips are available in 4 oz. bags with a suggested retail price of $2.49 and will be available on store shelved in June.
