Salad Green tea is a smart choice when it comes to summertime coolers!  It’s full of healthy antioxidants you won’t find in soda!  And when you brew your own tea at home using tea bags you add the sweeteners and extra ingredients you prefer!  It’s easy to make the perfect iced tea at home.  When I lived in New York I purchased diet iced tea mix.  But now that I’ve moved to the south I make my own!  It’s so much better!

Here’s how to make the perfect iced tea!

Here’s a delicious iced tea I made this week!  I used Peach & Nectarine Green Tea for Iced Tea in this recipe. I made a few substitutions and Hubby loved it!
Salada’s Orange Iced Green Tea

Ingredients

• 4 cups boiling water
• 8 Salada 100% Green Tea bags (1 Peach  & Nectarine Green Tea Bag)
• ¾ cup orange juice
• ¼ cup lemon juice (I used lime juice)
• 1/3 cup sugar (Stevia to sweeten)

Directions

1. Steep tea bags for five minutes.
2. Stir in sugar and allow to cool.
3. Combine orange juice, lemon juice and tea in a container.
4. Pour over ice and garnish with fresh orange slices.
