I cook with tomato products at least a few times a week!

From Italian food to Mexican dishes to soups and stews I just couldn’t live without tomatoes! They’re a staple at my home. Of course we grow them in the garden but when I don’t have access to fresh, home-grown tomatoes I rely on Dei Fratelli tomato products. Their tomato products are grown from seeds they cultivate themselves. Dei Fratelli tomato products are always red-ripe, juicy and taste fresh! They’re the next best thing to right off the vine!

I’ve been a fan of Dei Fratelli Products for a few years now and love all their tomato products.  And the great thing about Dei Fratelli is most of their products are naturally gluten-free so my daughter can enjoy them too!

How I Use Dei Fratelli!

• I always keep 28 oz Canned Tomatoes in various forms in my pantry!  It makes whipping up dinner easy peasy.  Dei Fratelli’s canned tomatoes are nothing short of fabulous.  I like to use the Dei Fratelli’s Seasoned Diced Tomatoes  in my Spanish omelette sauce. It contains celery, peppers, onions and garlic and is already seasoned.  It tastes really delicious right out of the can!  Petite Diced Tomatoes  and Whole Tomatoes  are perfect for making homemade sauces!  If you start with the best you’re homemade spaghetti sauce will turn out terrific!  All Purpose Italian Sauce  is my “go-to” when I’m making baked ziti or any type of casserole.  It adds a rich, hearty authentic Italian flavor to every dish I add it to!
• For easy-to-prepare Sloppy-Faux Joes I use Dei Fratelli Sloppy Joe Sauce! Sloppy-Faux Joes are my vegetarian version of Sloppy Joes and are ready in less than 5 minutes. Just heat the equivalent of 1 lb of your favorite vegetarian burger ‘crumbles’ ’til hot.  Add 1 can of Sloppy Joe Sauce and heat.  Serve on whole wheat buns. Yum!
• Eating take-out pizza gets pretty darn expensive!  So I always keep a can of Dei Fratelli Pizza Sauce in the house.  Even if I don’t make my own dough (that happens once every two years (Ha) I can whip up a yummerlicious pizza from a whole wheat store bought crust.  I top it with fresh veggies, herbs from the garden and some low fat cheese and voila!  Homemade pizza!
• I love homemade pasta sauce but let’s be realistic, with a toddler in the house and a full-time blogging job I don’t always have time to make a batch of sauce.  That’s why I love Dei Fratelli Pasta Sauce.  I’ve tried every single sauce they make and each one is fantastic.  The vegetarian Homestyle Sauce contains chunks of peppers and onions and it’s perfectly seasoned with oregano, basil, garlic and Romano cheese.  My Little Guy loves spicy foods but my daughter who’s 26 doesn’t (go figure), so this sauce is perfect for us!
• Doing any summer entertaining? Then invite Dei Fratelli Salsa to your next backyard barbeque!  It’s the perfect dip for chips and fresh veggies!  And instead of a plain old burger try adding a few tablespoons of Dei Fratelli Salsa to your burger meat prior to grilling. Dei Fratelli Salsa will keep your burgers juicy and flavorful!
