Musco Family Olive Co. Sampler {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

Musco Family Olive Co. Sampler {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

Nicolo, the founder of Musco Family Olive Co., brought his olive expertise from Italy to California with the ambition of making a good thing even better.

Years ago I shunned olives! I had a horrible experience with overly salty olives that were inedible and I lost my taste for them for years.  Hubby has always loved them and recently I gave ‘em a whirl and realized I liked them too. They’re great in salads, on pizza and they make terrific snacks! I must have been living under a rock because I wasn’t familiar with Musco Family Olive Co. until very recently.

Three generations ago, Founder Nicolo Musco brought his ambition and passion for olives from the groves of Italy to sunny California.  Today the Musco Family Olive Co. remains a thriving family business and is the leading branded retail supplier of table olives in America.  I was Blessed to receive a Musco Family Olive Co. Sampler for review.  Musco Family Olive Co. has not one but two brands of olives and this sampler contains both of their products.

The Musco Family Olive Co. is proud to be the leading supplier of olives in America

Musco Family Olive Co. Sampler Includes

1 can Early California Fresh Cured Green Olives - Both the Early California and Pearls Fresh Cured Green Olives are hand-picked and then cured immediately to retain their firm texture and natural color variations.  You won’t find any chemicals or preservatives in these olives!  No sir!  Only Sea Salt and Water are used to ‘fresh cure’ these olives.  The flip-top can makes opening and serving a breeze!
1 can Pearls Fresh Cured Green Olives
1 can Early California Reduced Salt Black Olives - Both the Early California and Pearls Reduced Salt Black Olives are naturally cholesterol free.  Musco uses a unique California curing process that removes the bitterness and gives their olives their smooth, savory flavor, provides the right amount of texture, and produces a rich, dark-brown color.  Sea Salt is used to these olives!  Enjoy as a snack or add to your salads, pizzas and sammies!
1 can Pearls Reduced Salt Black Olives
1 jar Early California Reduced Salt Pimiento Stuffed Olives – I have to be honest, I was never a fan of stuffed green olives.  I always found them over salty.  The sodium in Early California Reduced Salt Pimiento Stuffed and Pearls Reduced Salt Pimiento Stuffed Olives has been reduced from 310 mg to 70 mg per serving with no compromise in flavor.  They have 75% less sodium than regular Spanish Olives and they taste fabulous!
1 jar Pearls Reduced Salt Pimiento Stuffed Olives
Musco Family Olive Co. branded can opener, olive picks and cocktail napkins

    Had to laugh because I was the exact same way; hated olives to soon LOVE them! I will definitely be trying out that recipe…I always make an olive dip when friends come over. It’s like a great salsa goes great with tostito chips or crackers. You can find the recipe here: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/olive-dip/detail.aspx

    Just saw that black olives come in reduced sodium. I’m thrilled to know that. Once I start eating olives I can’t stop. I don’t buy them because of my blood pressure. Now I can buy them again.
