Girard’s® has been creating salad dressings as distinctive as its bottle since 1939.
I have some exciting news to share today! Back in June I was invited to become an official Girard’s Flavor Innovator and help Girard’s develop a few new salad dressing flavor varieties to join the existing Girard’s Premium Salad Dressings line. It’s been a fun couple of months and my job as an ‘Official Flavor Innovator’ has come to the point where I need your assistance. Several bloggers (including myself) joined with Girard’s research and development team to discuss flavor trends and salad dressing varieties in mid June.
After listening to our suggestions the R&D team at Girard’s went to work developing potential new salad dressing flavors. Those dressing were created and sent to the bloggers for tasting and the team met again to review the findings. I admit, I was outspoken in my opinions. Most of the dressings were pretty yummy. Some were fab-u-lous and a few were a total flop. Funny how something can sound so good on paper but be a bust in the bottle !
Girard’s has narrowed their choices down to four from the original eight dressings they created. Now they need potential names for these products and only three will make the cut! Let me know your thoughts and which name you prefer for each salad dressing. If you’re super creative and come up with a great name for one of these dressings by all means let me know that too!
