As a little girl I loved pickles!  I remember going to the Farmers Market and my Dad buying me a ginormous kosher dill pickle.  It was a blazing, hot summer day and believe it or not I chose that pickle over an ice cream cone.  It was the best darned pickle I have ever eaten in my life and I think it started my love affair with pickles!  No jarred, shelf store brand pickle has ever been able to match the flavor of that pickle I ate so many years ago!

When I heard about Farmer’s Garden by Vlasic Premium Pickles I was excited to give ‘em a whirl!  They sounded like a great product.  Never in my wildest dreams did I realize just how awesome these pickles would be and how addicted I would become to them.  Yeah, I’m lusting after pickles now instead of chocolate.  How insane is that and no I’m not pregnant!

When my Farmer’s Garden by Vlasic Premium Pickles arrived I knew right away these were no ordinary pickles!  The jars which were hand-packed, reminded me of the gourmet pickles I frequently see at my local Farmer’s Market.  I placed the pickles in the refrigerator with the highest expectations.  In all honesty, I had not seen pickles that looked this delicious in years.

• Deli Style Halves – Fresh halves of cumber are combined with garlic and peppercorns in this classic deli treat! These pickles are crunchy and large!  The perfect afternoon snack or addition to your sandwich.
• Bread & Butter Chips – I have to be honest.  I absolutely detest Bread & Butter pickles.  I actually told Vlasic not to send these pickles.  They sent them anyway and I’m so glad they did.  Shelf brand bread & butter pickles are mushy and overly sweet.  Vlasic Bread & Butter Chips are super crunchy and just sweet enough.  Each jar contains carrots and red peppers in addition to the pickles.  Not only are they delicious eaten right out of the jar, diced Bread & Butter Chips add a little something special to egg salad and faux chicken salad!
• Kosher Dill Halves – This is the taste of that pickle I had as a little girl at that Farmer’s Market so many years ago!  Not too salty, with just the right amount of garlic and dill, Kosher Dill Halves are what dill pickles are supposed to be!  This is one of the best pickles I have ever eaten!
• Zesty Garlic Chips – Vlasic did you know my motto was “We love our food highly seasoned?  My Little Guy, who is 2 ½ years old and shares my love of spicy food, helped me polish off this jar of extra-crunchy, thick pickle slices!  I dug deep into that jar for the carrots and red peppers too, they’re delicious on veggie burgers!
