Every once in a while I pass a house and think “Wow that house has it going on!”  It’s got just enough outdoor lighting without looking like the center of Times Square!  The inside of my house is perfectly lit.  I’m careful about not having too many lights; you know how costly that electric bill can be.  But the outside of my home isn’t sufficiently illuminated.  We tried solar powered lighting, which was a total dud, it just wasn’t reliable.  And I don’t want lights that are constantly lit because that’s going to run up my electric bill and Lord knows my bill is high enough.  So when I heard about Jenesis Outdoor Lighting I knew their products would be perfect for us.  Hubby and I have been looking for deck lights for a while but couldn’t find ones we liked!

Hubby and I love to sit out on our deck in the evening but the problem is its pitch black out there.  Jenesis Motion Deck Lights are a wireless area, path and accent light that come on automatically at dusk.  They provide a gentle glow and when motion is detected the light brightens to illuminate the area fully.

The neat thing is I can select the brightness and duration.  I received 2 lights.  I placed one Motion Deck Light on the deck.  That light has been set to long duration and low brightness.  The other Motion Deck Light has been placed on the front of my house and illuminates my walk way.  That one is set for short duration and high brightness. The deck light always checks for motion before it shuts itself off so I don’t have to worry about being left in the dark.
