Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

I’ve been a sucker for cupcakes since I was a kid!  If you’re like me and I suspect that you are, I bet it’s the frosting that you take a bite of first!  Of course the cupcake has to be moist and delicious but isn’t the frosting what makes or breaks a cuppie?

Dollop Gourmet Cupcake Creations is the only gourmet cupcake bar in Rochester, NY and a proud winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars.  They’ve recently created a new frosting line that is seriously yummy!  I’m picky when it comes to frosting and when I tasted their Ultimate Dude Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Frosting I said yum out loud!

I was Blessed to receive a full size & snack size Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread for review.

While I love frosting I’m very particular about the kinds I use and make (when I have time to actually make frosting from scratch).  When I hear the word ‘buttercream’ I think overly sweet, gritty, and greasy.  That’s why I tend to stick with whipped cream icing.  So I was eager to give Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread a whirl.  I figured they must know a little about frosting since they won Cupcakes Wars and I was right!  Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread rocks!  It’s unlike any other icing, frosting or spread I’ve ever tried and it is delish!

Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread is not too sweet and the texture is a little thicker than ‘regular’ frostings you’ll find on store shelves.  It’s creamy and rich without being heavy or cloying.  Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread is 100% homemade with real butter, real sugar, and real chocolate at Dollop Gourmet Cupcake Creations. You won’t find any preservatives in Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread so once you open the pouch refrigerate any leftovers, hahah if there are any!

Hubby and I love Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread on sliced apples, strawberries and melon chunks!  Of course it’s fabulous as a cupcake topper but think outside the box.  Ultimate Dude Peanut Cookie Dough Frosting Spread can be smeared on bagels, toast or muffins.  Use it as a dip for chips, pretzels or cracker.  For a whimsical dessert squeeze a large dollop on a tray and arrange bite size desserts around  Dollop’s Gourmet Frosting Spread.  It’s yummerlicious on anything and everything!  Psst.. a little dollop right outta the pouch isn’t too shabby either!
