The cost of grocery shopping never ceases to amaze me. With each item scanned the tab gets higher and higher. I rely on coupons, promotions, sales and even a gift card to keep our food bill low! That’s why I’m looking forward to the Kroger Buy 5 – Save $5 Event! taking place October 14th through October 24th at Kroger Co. Family of Stores. Just purchase five participating General Mills products and receive a coupon for $5 off your next shopping order*. And the great thing is the coupon is printed right at check out! There’s no mail-in-rebate to fill out and nothing to send in!
I was Blessed to receive a $25 Kroger Gift Card for review courtesy of Kroger and General Mills through MyBlogSpark for review.

I’m saving my $25 Gift Card to use during the Kroger Buy 5 – Save $5 Event!
I’m going to be stocking up on lots of my family’s favorite General Mills products! We eat lots of cereal, it’s a quick weekday breakfast and you know how expensive it is so I love to get it when it’s on sale. My Little Guy has a birthday coming up so I’ll be buying Betty Crocker Cake Mix too! (I don’t have time to bake from scratch!) And of course I’ll be stocking up on Yoplait yogurt.**
Promotions vary by store locations so be sure to check your local Kroger for specific deals and specials! Kroger Co. Betty Crocker cake mixes, would be first on my list. It’s a great way to stock up for birthdays
I’ll be stocking up on Yoplait yogurt.
I’m not entering the giveaway contest simply because I don’t have a Kroger in my area. But this is a good promotion. General Mills has some good in-store promotions at all the grocery stores during the early Fall of the year. Most, though, promote the Boxtops 4 Education school program. These coincide with product sales with lower prices, good coupons, and Cataline BTFE dollar value coupons for the schools. I recently took advantage of the sale prices, printed my coupons for discounts, and earned over $40 in BTFE for our school. I “stock” up to help family have cereal, mixes (think Hamburger Helper, Betty Crocker potatoes, brownies), canned goods (Green Giant), etc. I help family. I lower my own grocery bill. And…. I help the school.
Thanks for your great comment Vera,
Box Tops for Education is a great program isn’t i? Lowering our bill and helping the school at the same time is a GREAT deal!
