Just a few cool nights and my hands are already suffering the effects of the changing seasons. One day my ship will come in and I’ll go for a weekly mani and pedi but until that time I live with the driest hands (and feet) on earth. I go through vats of hand lotion and hand cream each winter in search of relief from the extreme dryness. My hands are not as dry in the summer, but this year they have been much drier than usual due to the amount of hand washing I’ve been doing.
I was Blessed to receive a full size 5.2 oz tube of L’Essence De Boshea Hand Cream for review.
My hand cream arrived in a beautiful wooden gift box tied with a pretty silk ribbon. Nestled carefully in the box was my tube of L’Essence De Boshea Hand Cream. I didn’t realize that a 5.2 oz tube was going to be so large. And because L’Essence De Boshea is so concentrated this hand cream goes a long way! You can see what a value this hand cream really is when you open it up and put a dab on your hands. That’s when it hits you; this tube is going to last for a while!
Now that My Little Guy is living with me and I’m changing diapers every day I’m washing my hands much more frequently and that sucks the moisture out of my skin. I may be in my 50′s but I swear I have the hands of a woman much older sometimes. Light lotions are nice but they just don’t keep my hands hydrated and moisturized. I almost feel like they ‘wet’ the skin on my hands and when the lotion dries I’m back to square one.
L’Essence De Boshea Hand Cream reminds me of another brand of very expensive French hand cream on the market. I used that a few years ago and honestly I loved it but was so expensive I just couldn’t afford it. I’m crazy for hand creams with shea butter and L’Essence De Boshea’s formula contains 20% along with extracts of honey and rosemary, which makes this cream so thick and rich it won’t drip or run out of the tube and off my hands! It’s not greasy though. Since I type most of the day a greasy, oily hand cream is something I really despise. L’Essence De Boshea sinks in quickly, hydrates and heals my skin and keeps my nails from becoming brittle and dry. It doesn’t sit on the surface and ‘puddle up’.
I only need a small dab of L’Essence De Boshea Hand Cream to soothe my dry, parched hands. But I find I use a little more. I use the ‘left over’ on my feet and legs, which are dry as toast! 
Heck they can use a treat too. I say that because not only does of L’Essence De Boshea Hand Cream make my skin feel soft, velvety and really comfortable. It smells delightful and the fragrance is gender neutral, Hubby likes it too! What i learned about L’essence De Boshea is that their products are 100% cruelty free with no testing done on any poor animals, so a bunny somewhere is happy:) Also i would LOVE to try it because it has 20% shea butter( very generous) and honey, both are renowned for their hydrating properties so a little bit can go a long way to keep the skin hydrated and supple:)
