When I was a little girl the only gum I was allowed to chew was Trident. No sugary gum for us, no ma’am. My mom knew that Trident was a pioneer of sorts being the first gum to undergo extensive long-term clinical testing in 1967 with studies showing that people who chewed Trident experienced significantly fewer cavities. As a matter of fact if we were out somewhere and couldn’t brush after eating my mom would give us a stick of Trident to chew.
I’m still a huge Trident fan but now I chew sugar-free Trident Layers gum. It’s got an extra layer of flavor that other gums don’t have! And unlike the Trident of yesteryear the flavor lasts for quite a while. I’m chewing the Juicy Berry & Tango Tangerine right now. It puts a smile on my face! It’s just a fun gum to chew.

Approximately 3,000 lucky fans were treated to an evening of unexpected surprises recently thanks to world renowned DJ Steve Aoki, who hosted an unforgettable performance that included an appearance by legendary pop superstars Duran Duran. The defining moment of the night was a Steve Aoki produced remixed performance of the band’s classic hit, Hungry Like The Wolf, aptly named, “Hungry Like The Wolf: Steve Aoki vs. Duran Duran – The New York Werewolf Mix” that brought the house down.
“I am always looking for new projects and opportunities that allow me to push my limits and surprise my fans- the chance to remix Hungry Like The Wolf has been a lot of fun and Duran Duran and Trident have been great partners,” said DJ Steve Aoki. “Hungry Like The Wolf is such a classic hit, I was thrilled to remix it and now we’re handing it to the fans to bring it to the next level with the video competition. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!”

So what are your favorite musical collaborations of all time? I’m a sucker for the 60′s so the first collaboration (is this a collaboration) that popped into my head was Sonny & Cher! Who doesn’t love I Got You Babe? And another of my all time favorites was the famous Unforgettable by Natalie and Nat King Cole! Wasn’t that beautiful! Call me crazy but I’d love to see a collaboration between Madonna and Lady Gaga too!
