Being a nurse I use traditional medications when there is a need.  There is a time and a place for them and pharmaceuticals are a blessing.  But in our pill-popping, fast paced society where you wake up, grab a cuppa coffee to get the day going and run-run-run ’til past midnight then pop a pill just to get some ‘shut eye’, there’s a problem.  We are industrious little suckers for sure but at what cost?  Our energy is being zapped, our immune systems are in the tank and I look at people and wonder if their joy has been stolen by the stresses of life.  That precious roller coaster of life can be a joy stealing, energy-sucking, tension-filled ride!
