Old World Gourmet Vinolicious White Wine Vino Freeze Mix Assortment {Rafflecopter Giveaway}

I was Blessed to receive an Old World Gourmet Vinolicious 3 pack White Wine Vino Freeze Mix Assortment.

I’m not a huge red wine drinker so I chose the white wine assortment to review.  But Old World Gourmet also has three Wine Freeze mixes for red wine and a Vinolicious Red Wine Assortment for you red wine lovers.  The Vinolicious White Wine Assortment includes three easy-to-use mixes:

• Vino-Licious Peach Bellini – Perfect for brunch!  This mix is created with a bottle of your favorite sparkling white wine or champagne
• Vino-Licious Margarita – Why go out to a restaurant for those overpriced frozen margaritas?  Stay home (I never drink and drive) and enjoy the best frozen margarita ever!
• Vino-Licious Lemoncillo – An ideal hostess gift!  But be sure to save one for yourself.  One box of mix, one bottle of Pinot Grigio (or your favorite white wine) and your ready to entertain Old World Gourmet style.

Hubby and I decided to try the Vino-Licious Lemoncillo Vino Freeze Mix for this review and save the other two mixes for later.  Lets be honest.  I can’t drink three bottles of wine in a week.  I’d go broke and need a new liver.   I had a bottle of vegan Pinot Grigio I had been saving but I thought, what the heck, threw caution to the wind and used that for this review.  Guilt-free, frozen wine slushies!  Ya gotta love that folks!

I’m a nervous nelly with zip-top bags and liquid after a mishap a few years back when Sweet Pea didn’t zip one up all the way and I had a mess to clean up.  So I double-bagged.  Call me neurotic but I’d rather be safe than sorry.  But I digress.  Easy Peasy to make and no mess at all, that’s what I’m loving about Vino Innovations!  Here’s how I prepared my Wine Slushie:

1. Pour mix into 2½ quart pitcher
2. Add 750 ml bottle of white wine.  I used Vegan Pinot Grigio.  Use what you like.
3. Refill wine bottle with cold water and add to pitcher.  Stir, I didn’t want any sugar crystals in my adult slushie!
4. Double bag (2) one-gallon zip-top bags (I like to be extra careful) and place in a large, tall serving bowl.  Pour wine mixture into zip-top bags and freeze 3-4 hours.  Remove and squeeze bags to the perfect slushie consistency.  Pour and enjoy! Yum!

Lemoncillo Freeze is refreshing, delicious, lemony, full of flavor and so festive!  Hubby and I both loved this cocktail.  It turned our Monday night into something special.  And the great thing is you don’t need an expensive bottle of wine.  Use an inexpensive bottle of whatever it is YOU like to drink and mix it with Vino-Licious Wine Freeze Mix.  For just 10 bucks you’ve got the makings of the most festive holiday get-together ever!
