Years ago I had a really bad experience after the unexpected (caesarean) delivery of my first daughter.  The delivery room nurse who was rushing to shave and prep me for my surgery nicked quite a few areas that were already swollen and not feeling their best if you get my drift.  To add insult to injury the minute my spinal anesthesia wore off I was riddled with not only post-op pain but also the most intense itching of my life.  It’s amazing how fast hair grows back in the most intimate area of your body isn’t it?  The memory of the pain has faded but I will never forget that itching as long as I live.

If you have sensitive skin, chances are the skin in the intimate area of your body is ultra-sensitive.  That means shaving in the past caused you to develop ugly red bumps, irritation, painful razor burn and those dreaded ingrown-hairs!  The shaving creams in the pretty cans on drug store shelves don’t do ‘squat’ in terms of helping me get a clean, close bikini shave.  I’m just sayin’!

The Project FIG Shave Love Kit is the first kit I’ve ever used that is specifically designed for shaving (yes) there, a woman’s intimate area.  But the products work incredibly well on my underarms and legs too!  And because I only use a small amount, I splurge and use them on my whole body.  I’ve decided I’m worth it!  Included in the Shave Love Kit are four full-size products that when used in conjunction give me the smoothest, most comfortable shave I’ve ever experienced.  The results are truly amazing!  And I have not had any itching, painful red bumps (Gosh, how ugly are those?), razor burn (owwww) or icky ingrown hairs that occur days after shaving.

Shave Gel – Cruelty-free & Vegan Project FIG Shave Gel comes in a pump bottle.  One pump gives me the ideal “dose”.  Don’t expect a huge lather, it isn’t necessary.  The gentle formula creates a layer on my skin, which allows my razor to glide over my skin like buttah!  Which reminds me, Project FIG has some really valuable intimate grooming tips to help you get the most amazing shave ever.  By following their little tricks and using their products I’m having awesome results!  Project FIG Shave Gel allows me to shave close, clean and comfortably! Enough said!
• 2 oz. Soothing Serum – I haven’t experienced any discomfort after shaving, not sure if it’s because the Shave Gel is so fabulous or because as soon as I hope out of the shower I apply Project FIG Soothing Serum to my freshly shaved skin.  There is no stinging, no burning and no pain.  Soothing Serum just feels nice on my skin.  The formula is very gentle and I’ve never experienced any irritation, even when I’ve slathered the serum on and wasn’t careful to avoid my most intimate areas.  Project FIG Soothing Serum also helps prevent ingrown hairs.  This is a step I wouldn’t skip!
• 4.5 oz. Exfoliant – On the days I don’t shave I exfoliate with Project FIG Exfoliant to remove the dead skin that causes ingrown hairs.  Project FIG Exfoliant, unlike other exfoliators is very gentle.  But don’t let the gentle formula fool you; it’s still highly effective at sloughing off debris, which leaves my skin silky smooth, EVEN on the days I don’t shave!
• 2 oz.
