I’ve been on the lookout for a flat iron for my daughter for a few months. She’s been wrangling me for mine and I didn’t want to give mine up. Purchasing a superstore flat iron for her is pointless. My flat iron with almost identical features ran me upwards of 200 bucks. (Gulp!) Now you understand why I didn’t want to hand it over to my daughter. For $55 the Andis e.logica 1″ Pure Ceramic Flat Iron offers everything my overpriced flat iron has and more.
My hair is pretty thick whereas Sweet Pea’s is a little finer. She likes to turn the Flat Iron up to the highest setting to get the job done quickly. Her motto is “time is of the essence.” The e.logica 1″ Pure Ceramic Flat Iron heats up in just 30 seconds so there’s no wasting time waiting for the flat iron. Psst, it’s got an auto shut off, which is great safety feature! I think my daughter is more careful now, but when she lived at home, we had a few mishaps with flat irons that were left on.
If Sweet Pea wants to turn heat up to the maximum 450°F she can. But there are 20 heat settings to choose from, and with finer hair she’s found that a medium setting is better for her. The plates on the e.logica Pure Ceramic Flat Iron are 100% pure ceramic, not all flat irons can claim that. My daughter noticed the difference immediately as the plates slid through her hair! The results were amazingly smooth, glossy and shiny hair!
