Claire de Lune Butter Cookies

It’s been a long time since I hosted a giveaway and review for sweets.  I recently lost a few pounds and I’ve resisted the urge to indulge in treats.  But every once in a while a delicious product that’s free of artificial ingredients, fillers, preservatives and colors catches my eye and I just can’t pass it up.  Chateau Bakery Clair de Lune Butter Cookies is one of those products.

I was Blessed to receive a Large Gift Box of Chateau Bakery Clair de Lune European-Style Butter Cookies for Review

You know I live for chocolate so I was a little apprehensive about Chateau Bakery Clair de Lune butter cookies.  These traditional, European cookies come in just one flavor and that isn’t chocolate.  These delicate, elegant cookies contain just five ingredients: 100% Cane Sugar, Flour, Butter, Sea Salt and Real Vanilla. That’s it!  The butter that Chateau Bakery uses is made from hormone free milk and their sea salt is harvested from Northern California sea ponds.  There’s no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or additives in Clair de Lune Cookies and they’re egg and nut free.

Sweet, rich Clair de Lune butter cookies melt in your mouth!

They are out of this world delicious!  My daughter, a shortbread connoisseur said that Clair de Lune butter cookies were sweeter and more flavorful than her favorite shortbread.  We were both impressed at how these cookies simply melted in our mouths.  Clair de Lune butter cookies are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or espresso.  These cookies aren’t low calorie, sugar-free or fat-free but they are pure, simple and contain only real ingredients I can actually pronounce.  I stopped myself at two cookies but my very slim daughter polished off a sleeve of Clair de Lune cookies declaring, “I’m not on a diet!”  I wanted to throttle her, grab the cookies and run!
